Spirits were high at Allerton House in Weymouth as residents celebrated the Boston Red Sox Home Opener at Fenway Park. Despite the loss to the Toronto Blue Jays (7 to 5), residents supported their team knowing that a win for the Sox is just around the corner!

You can count on generations of Red Sox fans for the season Home Opener. Allerton House in Weymouth resident Joan Coogan (middle) was joined by her daughter (left) Lynne Lynch and her granddaughter Meghan Lynch. Resident Bernie Norton waves a hand-held Sox banner with pride. Peanuts, popcorn, and Cracker Jack ® – it all spells baseball! Friends Mary Wright and Joann McLaughlin enjoy the celebration.
