Golden retriever and registered therapy dog Daisy and her trainer Brian Kling bring smiles to residents of Allerton House in Weymouth. 100 Years Young!

Congratulations to Allerton House in Weymouth’s latest centenarian, resident Margaret “Peg” Bonner! The community recently celebrated the milestone with a party for the resident who takes advantage of all the assisted living community offers, including Ballroom Dancing, crafts, painting classes, and flower arranging. Peg also participates in daily Rosary.

Alzheimer’s Association Provides Healthy Tips for Your Brain and Body

It is never too late to incorporate findings from the latest research into our daily lives when it comes to maintaining brain health. Certified Dementia Practitioner Jennifer Hoadley, CDP, Regional Manager, Southeastern, MA of the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter, provided area residents with many useful insights. Her easy-to-understand presentation is the first in a series of three summer-time programs, in advance of the fall opening of the Allerton House in Weymouth Memory Care Neighborhood.
