Congratulations to Allerton House in Weymouth’s latest centenarian, resident Margaret “Peg” Bonner! The community recently celebrated the milestone with a party for the resident who takes advantage of all the assisted living community offers, including Ballroom Dancing, crafts, painting classes, and flower arranging. Peg also participates in daily Rosary.

It is never too late to incorporate findings from the latest research into our daily lives when it comes to maintaining brain health. Certified Dementia Practitioner Jennifer Hoadley, CDP, Regional Manager, Southeastern, MA of the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter, provided area residents with many useful insights. Her easy-to-understand presentation is the first in a series of three summer-time programs, in advance of the fall opening of the Allerton House in Weymouth Memory Care Neighborhood. The new Fitness Center at Allerton House in Weymouth recently opened with equipment demonstrations, fresh fruit, and delicious fresh fruit and vegetable juice. The newly installed ergonomic stationary bikes and recumbent elliptical provide an excellent workout while minimizing stress on joints and bones.
