Residents Create Blankets for Children

Jan 3, 2018

Residents at Allerton House in Weymouth are compassionate and enterprising. Recently they created four blankets to help children in need keep warm during the winter months. The blankets will be distributed through the Boston chapter of Project Linus, an organization that makes certain any child who may need “extra comforting” receives a new, handmade blanket.

Activities Assistant Deborah Cassidy (standing) helps residents Anne Best (in red) and Joanne McLaughlin create the perfect blanket.

Allerton House in Weymouth resident Joanne McLaughlin is pleased to devote time to Project Linus.
